This is the 19th year of Gerry Pollard's Officiating Clinic.  This clinic has been the starting point for hundreds of officials to launch their careers to be the best high school referee they can be or pursue a college career.  IT ALL STARTS HERE!

The game is changing, the way it is being officiated at all levels is changing.  Video review, replay systems are all a part of officiating now.  Gerry and his highly trained staff have developed a teaching, training and development program that is designed to teach you to referee the right way from the start.  They will train you to handle different levels of officiating as you progress.  Once you establish yourself in the program, they will develop you into the best official you can be and reach the highest level you want to attain.

You will learn the principles of three man mechanics and how to break it down from each position.  Each official will receive a video critique of one of their games and a copy of the game online.  This video will have audio critique by one of the staff.  Video review is one of the best ways to improve your skills and the way you look on the floor.  Gerry has created a system that is a working system with all High School Associations and also coordinates 58 small college schools in 6 different states.  The system allows you to develop the correct way as an official yet exposes you to some of the best basketball to officiate that will make you better.  Official's need to continue to work at their game and to make themselves better.  Camp/clinics now provide one of the best ways to do that.  This is a great clinic to attend for the first time and get into the system to better yourself.  This clinic is a MUST if you want to be the best you can be.
